A pretty non-event. Checked my blood pressure
which was again high, but I was still pretty
anxious. Looked for the heartbeat with a
doppler but it couldn't be found. Since
they could easily hear my own heartbeat
they determined that I have an anterior
placenta. Which means the placenta was between
the doppler and the baby, making it difficult
to find the heartbeat. Also, it is not unusual
to not find the heartbeat with a doppler
at 12 weeks. Scheduled an appointment for
14 wks on Nov. 28th to check blood pressure
again.
